The safety of our employees, through the prevention of job accidents, is one of the primary considerations of this company. Our policy is to provide, within our control, a safe working environment, free from recognized hazards and to minimize, or hopefully eliminate, injury at work. This policy also applies to the prevention of physical damage to our vehicles, all equipment and to the well being and property of our customers, as well as our general public. We will comply with the safety standards of each state, federal and municipal agency, which regulates our business operations.

The cooperation of every person in our company is necessary to ensure the high standards of job safety that we must maintain. One of the conditions to achieving this goal is for all employees to follow the work rules as outlined in our Safety Rules and Practices. The key to a successful program, as always, rests with each individual worker who makes the commitment to being safety conscious every minute of every day. To accomplish this, the company requires that employees receive introductory employment training and periodic updates. At a minimum, our employees participate in these safety training programs.

Safety Tips:

  • Safety Excellence is NEVER achieved by Accident!
  • Set a GOOD EXAMPLE for others and treat safety as ONE of your MOST IMPORTANT Job Responsibilities.
  • Every Tool has a place- RETURN IT when you're through. IF it's  DAMAGED, TAG IT and TAKE IT "OUT OF SERVICE".
  • Maybe there's some inconvenience involved SOMETIMES in using Eye Protection-BUT what's that compared with the "INCONVENIENCE" of having to learn how to read Braille?
  • Construction Work is DANGEROUS. SAFE WORK HABITS are your "FIRST LINE of DEFENSE".
  • KIDS and CONSTRUCTION "DON'T MIX"!
  • If it's wet, warm, and not yours.......DON'T TOUCH IT!!!!
  • Don't be a HARD HEAD - get in the HARDHAT HABIT!
  • EMERGENCY PHONE NUMBERS should be Posted next to every Telephone @ Work...as well as @ Home. It could mean SAVING a LIFE!
  • Be a "Safe Worker".  Check your work area for hazards, inspect your tools before use, set a good example, follow the rules and NEVER be the person that horses around.  Remember, if a prank backfires and someone is injured, it's NO JOKE!
  • Severe Weather "PACKS A PUNCH"- Sometimes a "KNOCKOUT";!  DON'T BE CAUGHT WITH YOUR GUARD DOWN.
  • What Goes "UP" -  Will "Come Down"...FASTER!
